This year, the festival is delighted to collaborate with the Sõprus Cinema, where three films connected to literature in one way or another will be screened at the beginning of festival week.
On Monday 25 May, audiences can see Romanian director Radu Jude’s 2025 meta-narrative spectacle Dracula. As is well known, the famous vampire originates from what is now Romania. Jude weaves together folkloric, literary and cinematic material, creating a work that combines both surreal and realist elements. The screening will be introduced by film journalist Tristan Priimägi.
