poet and artist. Has published several collections of poetry, the most recent one Sulle (For You) was published in 2003. Malin has done remarkable work in introducing Estonian surrealist heritage (his father Ilmar Malin was a well-known surrealist painter); he has edited two books of poems by the most famous Estonian surrealist poet Ilmar Laaban: collected poems Sõnade sülemid, sülemite süsteemid (Word Swarms, Swarm Systems, 2004) and a book containing Laaban’s palindromes and anagrams Eludrooge ego-ordule (Life Drugs for Ego-Order, 2008). Malin also collects folklore, twice he has been given the folklore prize of the President of the Republic of Estonia. Malin is also a brilliant performer of poetry, he is interested in text-sound poetry.
