Estonian poet and musician. Has published three collections of poetry and belonged to the literary group Tartu NAK (Young Authors’ Association). He started his successful career in music as guitarist in the band Claire’s Birthday. Afterwards formed and led various Estonian-language bands – the best known are Köök (Kitchen) and Orelipoiss (Organ Boy), where Pehk blends his nerve of the absurd, a strong perception of melody and a fine tenor. His lyrics / poems often combine puns and a powerful, occasionally even nostalgic sense of home.
