| poet and artist. Perhaps Kompus is the best symbol for a literary group Erakkond (Hermithood), a bold and careless solitary artist and a man of the world. Kompus has published several collections of poetry, his style encompasses both surreal and lyrical elements. At the same time he is remarkable for his playful attitude to everything concerning the spiritual way of life – he has created several weird imaginary characters directing Kompus’s actions from time to time, or taking his place occasionally.
