| Estonian prose-writer, journalist and literary critic. His second novel September (2009) created a lot of response, presenting a sarcastic picture of urban white-collar worker’s gnawingly routine days and their inablity to break out of this life. Helme is also an active publicist, he founded the online publication Kriteerium, where he has introduced contemporary German literature but also the authors and the ideas close to his own way of thinking (for instance conservative revolution). The best of Kriteerium has been published in the book Kriteerium. Selected Articles 2006-2007 (2007). Helme is also the literary editor of the cultural monthly „Tegelikkuse keskus“. | | |
