musician and poet, one of the best known Estonian hip-hop artists, who has participated in several musical projects and issued two solo CDs: ?MC (2004) and Suur pilt (The Big Picture, 2006). Tommyboy published his first book at the beginning of this year, Aja kiri (Timezine), which he described in the cultural weekly Sirp as follows: “… I have recorded music since the late 1990s. The book could interest friends of poetry who are not so close to rap, who are particularly fond of it: it is easier to read and follow, allows the reader to pause and think. Rap songs are usually full of intense text, very fast, the rhythm dictating the tempo. There aren’t really many slow songs with pauses for thought.”
